Meet Your Local Gold Coast Osteopath
Dr Samantha Evans (Osteopath)

Osteopath
B.ClinSc, M.Ost.Med
Dr Samantha Evans is a qualified osteopath on the Gold Coast with a Master of Osteopathic Medicine. She commenced her studies at RMIT in Melbourne before relocating to the Gold Coast at the start of 2020, where she transferred to Southern Cross University to complete her postgraduate osteopathic training.
She takes a direct, hands on approach to treatment, incorporating massage, myofascial stretching, joint mobilisation, manipulation, and exercise rehabilitation to address her patients’ concerns. Sam also holds certifications in taping, dry needling, and myofascial cupping, allowing her to integrate these techniques into individualised osteopathic care where appropriate.
Sam has a collaborative approach to care, meaning she actively involves patients in the creation and implementation of their treatment plans. This ensures each recovery plan is personal and aligned with the patient’s needs and goals. She places a strong emphasis on education, helping patients understand their body, manage symptoms, and support recovery through movement and self care. She regularly provides exercises to improve the body’s function and considers how lifestyle factors such as posture, daily activities, sleep, and stress can influence pain and recovery.
To further develop her clinical knowledge, Sam has recently completed further studies in naturopathic medicine. Outside the clinic, she works as a sports trainer for AFL and VFL umpires, giving her valuable experience managing acute injuries and supporting safe return to movement.
Now conveniently located in Varsity Lakes near Burleigh Heads, Sam provides osteopathic care for individuals across the Gold Coast, supporting people looking to improve movement, manage pain, and better understand their body.

"I love all things health and wellness. Exercise has always been a big part of my life, and I'm always searching for new ways to improve my health and that of my patients. My current research is finding nutritional and herbal alternatives for pain management.
I tried most sports growing up but have always been passionate about netball and AFL. As someone who's very competitive and loves to exercise, I love working with injured athletes to get back to their sport as quickly and as safely as possible.
I have been very fortunate to work for the AFL for the past 8 years. It has given me lots of valuable experience dealing with acute injuries as they occur. "
About Reformative Health
Reformative Health is an osteopathy clinic on the Gold Coast that focuses on understanding how the body moves and functions as a whole. Our approach is centred on identifying the factors contributing to pain, tension, or restricted movement, rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
Located in Varsity Lakes near Burleigh Heads, the clinic supports individuals across the Gold Coast who are looking for personalised, hands on osteopathic care. Each appointment is approached with care and attention, ensuring treatment is tailored to the individual and their specific needs.

Our Approach To Osteopathic Care
Osteopathy is based on the relationship between structure and function in the body. At Reformative Health, this means assessing how joints, muscles, and movement patterns interact and how they may be influencing discomfort or reduced mobility.
Treatment is hands on and individualised. Techniques may include joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, stretching, and other supportive methods where appropriate. Care is guided by thorough assessment and ongoing review, allowing treatment plans to adapt as the body changes over time.
Patients are also supported with education, practical advice, and exercises to help maintain the benefits of treatment and improve confidence in everyday movement.
Tailored Approach To Our Osteopathy Clients
Care at Reformative Health is collaborative and patient focused. Treatment plans are developed with the individual, taking into account their goals, daily activities, and physical demands.
By supporting patients to better understand their body and how it responds to movement and load, osteopathic care becomes an active process rather than something that only happens in the clinic. This approach helps people feel more confident in managing their musculoskeletal health over the long term.
