Gold Coast Osteopath, Structural and Holistic Care
At Reformative Health, we provide osteopathic care on the Gold Coast from our Varsity Lakes clinic, a short drive from Burleigh Heads and convenient for patients across the southern Gold Coast. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, not just the complaint.
Our approach to osteopathy on the Gold Coast is structural and holistic. We assess how your muscles, joints, and movement patterns work together to identify what is actually driving your discomfort, not just where it shows up. Every consultation includes guidance on exercises and lifestyle strategies to support long-term results.
Whether it is a recurring ache, a recent sports injury, or simply wanting to move better day to day, our Gold Coast osteopath provides clear, practical care at every step, for full-time athletes and everyday patients alike.
Additional Osteopath Services
We use acupuncture needles, which are very fine needles used to stimulate muscles by increasing blood flow, decreasing tension, and reducing healing time.

We use cups to decompress the muscles and fascia (connective tissue). It improves blood flow, breaks down scar tissue, decreases tension and reduces healing time.

Taping supports the joints by maintaining optimal positioning to assist with recovery, improves performance and joint ergonomics, or prevents re-injury.

Rigid
As the name states, it is quite strong and stops joints from spraining. This is commonly used for ankles.
Kinesiology
A stretchy form of tape that gives the body feedback so that you can correct your joint ergonomics without limiting movement. This tape is great for knees, elbows, upper and lower back. It also helps with lymphatic drainage, which supports recovery.
Stretchy
It has more give than rigid tape but still provides support. This tape is excellent for thumbs and shoulders, where the joint has multidirectional movement but still requires support.

How Osteopathy Works
Osteopathy takes a hands-on and holistic approach to assessing and treating musculoskeletal issues. At Reformative Health, we consider how muscles, joints, and movement patterns work together to identify what might be contributing to pain or discomfort.
Each consultation starts with a thorough assessment, including a discussion of symptoms, movement habits, and relevant lifestyle factors. Treatments can include joint mobilisation, myofascial release, dry needling, taping, cupping, and guided exercises, all tailored to the individual.
We also provide practical guidance on posture, daily activities, and exercises to help maintain the benefits of treatment. The focus is on supporting the body to function more efficiently and addressing the factors behind discomfort, not just the symptoms.
Why Choose Us?
At Reformative Health, we take a structural and holistic approach, focusing on understanding the factors behind your pain rather than just treating symptoms. Each treatment is personalised, combining hands-on techniques with guidance on exercises and lifestyle choices to support long-term wellbeing.
Dr Samantha Evans works closely with patients to create recovery plans that suit their individual needs, ensuring care is collaborative and informed.
With a focus on practical, measurable improvements, our clinic helps patients move more comfortably and maintain results, beyond the treatment room.
Integrating Osteopathy with Naturopathy for Enhanced Recovery
At Reformative Health, we believe that physical recovery is often supported by internal health. While Osteopathy addresses the structural and mechanical aspects of your body, Naturopathy provides the nutritional and herbal support needed to reduce inflammation, improve tissue repair, and boost energy levels.
By integrating these two modalities, we offer a more comprehensive approach to healing. For example, a patient seeking treatment for chronic joint pain through joint mobilisation may also benefit from a naturopathic review of their diet and inflammatory markers. This dual approach ensures we are addressing your health from both the outside in and the inside out.
How our integrated care works:
-
Structural Support: Hands on osteopathic techniques to improve joint mobility and reduce muscle tension.
-
Internal Support: Naturopathic strategies to manage stress, improve gut health, and support hormonal balance.
-
Collaborative Results: A cohesive treatment plan that targets the root cause of discomfort while providing the body with the internal resources it needs to thrive.
Whether you are managing a sports injury or dealing with long term fatigue, our goal is to provide a unified path to wellness. You can choose to focus solely on Osteopathy or incorporate Naturopathy into your recovery plan for a truly holistic experience.
